| Location – University of Phoenix – West Valley Learning Center |

This session is designed to give all levels of grant seekers a detailed overview of how to use the Internet to locate grant funding opportunities. The presenter also provides session attendees with a realistic look at funding trends for conference-specific projects and programs. Subscription and free resource Web sites are reviewed; URLs are given and an overview of what each Website offers is included in the presentation. Potential grant seekers are taught, through this session, how to aggressively locate critically needed grant funding opportunities, AND most importantly, how to stay on top of the grant seeking game!
By the end of this presentation, participants will be able to:
Identify Web sites that carry funding opportunity alerts and know how to subscribe to free and subscription-based funding announcements.
Understand how to retrieve a grant application announcement or private sector funder profile.
Determine what types of projects are funded the most and how to use the funding trends information to prioritize their own funding needs.
Understand the steps in the funding process.
