days of training with "just Bev." Mahalo for finding her and

changed my life again! Because of the course I took with you
through VolstateCommunity College, I
decided to take a few of the other pre-requisites needed for my masters and
guess what! Even though it has been 2 years since I took the
classes, when Volstate received stimulus funding for completing education they
contacted me!!! You will not believe how it all unfolded, but long
story short is that I have funding for the next two years to
gather the final classes I need to bridge into the Vanderbilt MSN program with
my business degree. .And, believe it or not, I have an interview tomorrow with
TRIO. They help students complete their education. They are going
to help me find funding for Vanderbilt!!! All because of you! If
I had not been so impressed with the courses I took with you, I would not have
even thought about taking courses through Volstate. I am eternally
grateful for your influence on my life. That is not all! My Church, New Wine
Ministries put together a board for their new non-profit - New Directions and
was able to get a Charter. They are positioning themselves to become a
501 (c)3. I have been able to help with the wisdom you imparted to

I attended Grant Writing Boot Camp training conducted by Dr. Beverly Browning in August
2008 (Little Rock). As someone who had never written a grant before, I
was somewhat pessimistic about how much I could learn in a two-day
seminar. Well, I got more than my investment in time and money and learned more than I could ever
have imagined. I recently wrote my first grant and it was approved for a
whopping $1.2 Million! I believe that, by continuing to use proven
techniques taught by Dr. Bev, I will secure many more grants in the future. Thanks, again,
